CHESICC, the China Higher Education Student Information and Career Center and DUO, the Executive Education Agency of the Netherlands Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, are pleased to extend a personal invitation to you to attend the Digital Student Data Depositories Worldwide seminar 2013.
This event will take place from April 8 – 11 at the Vision Hotel in the Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Beijing, China. The Meeting Program can be clicked here.
The aim of this meeting is to exchange best practices in digital student information management, to discuss international cooperation in student information management and to develop a networking information system. This will help all of us provide better service and guidance to students during their academic career, and on the way to their subsequent careers in the labour market. Delegates will get in depth presentations on China’s higher education international exchange policy, its higher education student management system, and its graduate recruitment & employment information service, next to best international practices and current pilots in the field of digital student data portability, which will be presented by experts from the United States, France and DUO. The workshop presentations and panel discussion will ensure that the potential of our SI systems come out loud and clear, with the day coming to an end with the opening up of new signatures of the Groningen Declaration for those delegates that would be prepared to do so.
On April 10, all delegates will be offerred a cultural sight seeing tour. Come and join us in exploring some of China’s best kept cultural treasures, and use the opportunity for leisurely networking.
